Another enemy research facility has appeared at the top of the "frag list". This facility is near the H2 IQAAF Airbase, located North East of the Airbase.

You and your flight of four F-18s are to launch from Safwan and head West at at 420KIAS and 6,000 feet ASL. Stay fast and get low as the enemy air defenses begin to show on the RWR. Work in conjunction with Hornet Two using "Iron Hand" tactics of one F-18 attracting the attention of the SAM sites while the second (you) goes down and shoots the HARMS.

As such you are the primary SAM killer on this mission. You must wipe out ALL SAM sites in the area about your first Waypoint. You must get those SAM sites.

We expect stiff resistance from the IQAAF as the target is so close to the H2 Airbase. Hit fast, strike hard, and get back to Safwan Airbase in Kuwait asap.

Ensure that you launch as quickly as possible. Hornet Three and Four are behind you on the runway and they won't wait for you!

Two F-16s are on alert at Rafha in case of IQAAF incursions North of Rafha.

Al Basrah is still receiving Tu-20 aircraft for maintenance. A large multi-engine aircraft flew in there last night. US Army Special Forces scouts report that a high level Officer in the IQAAF was seen near it. It may be used as a courier aircraft. If you happen across it to the North West then splash it.

Recover at Safwan
